My Tangelo

Holding my tangelo in my left hand and trying to peel it with my other hand but I tried and tried but I couldn’t, thanks to my stubby nails.
A million years later, I finally peeled my tangelo with the help of a friend. I stared at my tangelo without its skin, it reminded me of a mandarin. I bit into my juicy tangelo as a bit of juice flies at my eye. I didn’t care though, it was too delicious to stop eating it. I kept eating it until it was gone.
I felt like crying because I had eaten all my tangelo. It was that delicious and I was that really that sad.
But thankfully, I got to have another one at lunch.
“Yayy!!!”

I was learning to improve my descriptive language and I think I did well. I was told we could do it any kind of structure as long as you add what it tasted like, looked like, feels like, sounds  like and what it smelled like. Next time I think I should try and use better words to describe the tangelo to make it more interesting for the reader

My Remember Writing

I Remember...
Scrambling over to my sticky seat
Being slowly lifted higher and higher up into the air Things around me were shrinking and becoming smaller by the second
I started to shake and wobble in fear
Then everything stops…
And next thing I know, I go plummeting down faster than lightning
My stomach jumped up into my throat
I tried to scream but the wind came right out of me
Then the ride slams to a stop
That was my summer!

How To Make Butterscotch Pancakes

How To Make Butterscotch Pancakes

Makes 15-25 (Depends On The Size)

❤❤❤❤❤❤

❤❤❤❤❤❤

Today, I am going to tell you how to make butterscotch pancakes and for this recipe you will need:
  • A Frying Pan
  • A fork/whisk
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 sachet of butterscotch mix
  • A Spatula

Steps
  1. Add all dry ingredients (Flour, baking powder, sugar, butterscotch mix)
  2. Then add ¼ of the milk and then mix quickly but carefully.
  3. Once that milk has evaporated into the dry ingredients, add 2/4 of the milk and then repeat the mixing method on step 2.
  4. Add the last of the milk once the 2/4 of the milk on step 3 has been mixed in and then mix again.
  5. Once the milk is mixed, is should look thick and gooey but now you will need an adult to give you a hand if you aren’t old enough to use a stove.
  6. Turn the stove on medium and put the frying pan on the flame then get a thin slice of margarine/butter and put it in the frying pan.
  7. Pour the butterscotch pan mix into the pan carefully and then put the mixture back on the pan and keep an eye on the pancakes because it’s 2 minutes on each side.
  8. Once it has been 2 minutes, grab a spatula and then flip the pancake.
  9. When it’s been another 2 minutes on the other side, take it out with a spatula and put it on a serving plate and top it of with maple or golden syrup.

Tip: Wait until the pancakes cool down then top them off with whipped cream
